As you may have already heard, former Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker, and DJ AM were the only survivors of a Learjet crash in South Carolina on Friday night. They are both in critical condition in a local burn ward. The plane, which was headed to California after a concert in Columbia, crashed shortly after take off. Chris Baker, 29, Charles Still, 25, Sarah Lemmon, 31, James Bland, 52, all died at the scene. The cause of the wreck is currently under investigation. Yahoo! News reports:
Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and celebrity disc jockey DJ AM are expected to fully recover from burns they suffered in a fiery South Carolina jet crash that killed the other four people aboard, one of their doctors said Sunday. Dr. Fred Mullins, medical director of the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, said the two suffered second- and third-degree burns but had no other injuries from the crash that one witness described as a fireball shooting across a highway. "Anybody who can survive a plane crash is pretty lucky," Mullins told reporters during a news conference Sunday morning. Barker was burned on his torso and lower body and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, was burned on an arm and a portion of his scalp, according to a statement from the musicians' families released by the hospital. Mullins declined to discuss specific recovery times for the men, but said such injuries can take a year to fully heal. Both men are still in critical but stable condition, he said."
Let's take a moment to say we hope these guys pull through. Thats being said, Travis Barker is like the hugest asshole douchebag on planet Earth. I can understand how a plane crash can make you rethink a lot of things in your life. Hopefully he does NOT die but let us not forget that he is one of those celebrities that treated people like shit. He is the tool is the red cap below.

Investigators are now saying they suspect a blow tire caused the Learjet to crash on takeoff that critically injured Travis Barker and DJ AM (Adam Goldstein), and killed four other people. The suspicion is based on the cockpit recorder retried from the wreckage.
Investigators added it is a miracle that anyone survived the plane crash, especially since the plane was consumer by fire. Former Blink-182/Aquabats drummer Travis Barker and former Nicole Richie boyfriend Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein were seriously injured in a jet crash that killed four people in South Carolina Friday night. Among the dead were Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills; co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad; Chris Baker, 29, of Studio City; and Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles. Baker was Travis’ assistant and Still was Travis’ security guard.
The Learjet crashed during takeoff. Air traffic controllers “saw sparks coming from the runway — whether that was from the aircraft or its engines, we don’t know.” Barker and Goldstein were seen running around the runway stripping off their clothes to put out the flames. They are in critical condition with extensive burns and are being treated at a burn center in Augusta, GA.
“They overran the end of runway 11. They impacted the antenna array and a number of lights at the end of the runway. They went through the perimeter fence and across the roadway here,” said NTSB spokeswoman Debbie Hersman, briefing reporters on Saturday. “There was a significant post-crash fire.”
